On our three small group heritage tours you can walk in the footsteps of Thomas Hardy, visit some of Dorset’s most beautiful gardens or see the castles of Sir Walter Raleigh in the beautiful town of Sherborne. For hikers, our walking holidays are rich in folklore, history and stunning landscapes.

Our walking holidays, whether coastal or inland, take you through gorgeous countryide and villages, steeped in history, local legends and oddball personalities from the past.
Our Thomas Hardy tour - for walkers or non-walkers - goes to places that are closely associated with the life of Thomas Hardy, as well as with his famous friend, T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia). Our Garden tour visits four of Dorset’s most beautiful gardens, with some delightful short walks in between. Our Sherborne tour includes two castles, an Abbey, a haunted Tudor manor house and an iron-age hill fort believed by many to be the site of King Arthur’s Camelot.
